Can I get tickets at the door?
No! You must purchase your ticket by midnight on February 20th or you will not be able to attend this event. No tickets are available at the door or on the day of the event.
I bought my ticket but I can't go now. What should I do?
Tickets are non-refundable. But you may transfer your ticket. See below.

I am not a current Yale G&P student or postdoc. Can I come to the ball?
You are most cordially invited to the ball as the guest of a Yale student or postdoc. Please note that only current students and postdocs may purchase tickets for you.
What is the dress code?
The suggested attire is dressy, cocktail party attire i.e. cocktail or long dresses, jacket and/or tie with shirt. Tuxedos and ballgowns are not mandatory. National dress (e.g. kilt, sari) or military dress welcomed.
Do I need a mask?
This will be a masquerade ball. Masks are highly encouraged. Come to our mask-making event, make your own mask or buy a mask. We will also be providing basic masks at the door.
Do I need a date?
Most definitely not. Come with friends if you don't have a date!
Will there be an open bar?
No, there will only be a cash bar. Drinks cost from $5-$7. Free ice water will be available all night. More info here.
What kind of dancing will there be?
Ballroom dancing skills are not required. DJ Beez will be playing Top 40 hits and dance music from 10pm - 1am.
